Hello fellow Canadians.
This past Friday we officially launched our first 3 Hitchbots! Student groups have been busy working away completing their hitchhiking robots over the past few weeks. They have been constructing, soldering, glueing, writing and problem solving to make their Hitchbots just right. A few groups were ahead of schedule so we decided to get a few of them out as soon as we could. I'm happy to say that we've already seen some exciting developments. One of our Hitchbots, 'Hitch', has already made his way out of Calgary, taking a trip to Mackay's in Cochrane for some Ice Cream. We're already seeing the kindness of Canadians in action. We've also seen some mentions from other Canadians on Twitter, who have found our other Hitchbots at the Calgary Zoo and the Calgary Tower. More groups are hoping to launch their Hitchbots this week, so please keep your eyes peeled for these curious little bots around the Calgary Area (for now!).
